The team handles the small things that turn a good dinner into a memorable one: greeting you by name at the door, walking you to the held table without consultation, refilling glasses without prompting, pacing dessert to coincide with the moment you want it. Other guests at nearby tables never see the choreography — only the two of you do.
The anniversary table
We reserve table 4 or table 6 by default for anniversary dinners — both are corner tables with an unobstructed Bosphorus view, slightly set back from the main flow so the conversation stays private. If your anniversary falls on a Friday or Saturday in summer (June–September) book at least 7 days ahead; mid-week and winter dates usually open with 48 hours notice. If the date is fixed but the time is flexible, our team will suggest the exact slot that lines up with sunset on the day so the welcome drinks catch the golden hour.
On arrival you check in discreetly. The candle path and roses are already laid; if you ordered a personalised cake or a sparkling reception, those are timed for the moment you indicate. The pace of the meal is set by you — there is no rush between courses, no clearing of plates while you are still talking. An anniversary at Pino Gare lasts as long as the conversation does.

All add-ons are quoted in writing before booking. No surprises on the final bill. If you prefer to design your own menu — for example, replaying the exact dishes from your first dinner together, or building around a wine you love — send us the brief and we will quote a custom menu within 24 hours.
How it works, step by step
Step 1 — WhatsApp us with your anniversary date, preferred time, the language of the dessert message, and any notes about your partner (favourite flowers, dietary preferences, a song for the live guitarist). Step 2 — we confirm the table and send a written package proposal within 24 hours. Step 3 — a 30 % deposit secures the date; full balance settled after the dinner. Step 4 — on the night, the team executes the brief; you arrive, the candles are lit, the view is waiting.
For surprise dinners (your partner does not know the venue): payment, coordination and all logistics happen in advance over WhatsApp; on the night, your partner sees only the candles, the view and the dessert with the message.
